摘要: Abstract Near surface attenuation parameter kappa ( κ ) of S-waves is calculated from 52 earthquake acceleration recordings at and base level (Vs > 760 m/s, namely engineering bedrock) three downhole arrays two outcrop stations in Istanbul, Turkey. Path dependent R site 0 components are epicentral distance (Repi)- correlations. Estimated values for the range 26–30 ms, while levels 40–53 ms 18–23 ms, respectively. A strong correlation observed between relative amplification factors downholes differences surface-base levels. On other hand, not approaching to zero suggests that several still contribute than path effects. Given scenario stochastic simulation approach, 10 ms decrease found increase response spectral up 0.2 g 0.1–0.2 s structural periods.
