摘要: Abstract We and others have previously demonstrated that nociception in the mouse is heritable. A genetic correlation analysis of 12 common measures among a set inbred strains revealed three major clusters (or ‘types’) this species. In present study, we re-evaluated types their interrelatedness using ten additional assays hypersensitivity, including: thermal (tail withdrawal from 47.5°C water or −15°C ethanol; tail flick radiant heat), two chemical spontaneous (bee venom test; capsaicin test) subsequent hypersensitivity states (including contralateral bee test), mechanical nociceptive assay (tail-clip (intrathecal dynorphin). Confirming our earlier findings, results demonstrate distinct types. It now clear are genetically dissociable phenomena. Furthermore, see at least hypersensitivity: afferent-dependent, featuring preceding significant period behavior associated with afferent neural activity, non-afferent-dependent. conclusion, latest suggests there five fundamental (1) baseline nociception; (2) responses to noxious stimuli; (3) hypersensitivity; (4) (5) input-dependent hypersensitivity.
