摘要: The epithelial layer of the intestinal tract serves as a model to study mechanisms regulating tissue renewal. Central this process is stem cell and, thus, both intrinsic and extrinsic factors that modulate function these cells must be understood. Amongst regulators, canonical wnt bone morphogenic protein (bmp) signaling pathways have been shown essential determinants dynamics homeostasis. intestinotrophic hormone, glucagon-like peptide-2 (GLP-2), has also recently demonstrated exert variety effects on crypt cells, including enhancement putative marker, musashi-1, well stimulating proliferation. As GLP-2 receptor not expressed by actions hypothesized mediated indirectly, through other gut peptides and/or growth factors. Of these, recent studies requirement for insulin-like factor-1 in proliferative GLP-2, pathway involves activation pathway. This represents novel mechanism which may regulated.
