Predissociation of Feshbach resonances in hydrogen fluoride

摘要: The authors have investigated the electron transmission spectrum and dissociative attachment cross section of HF in energy region 10-15 eV. Only one Feshbach resonance (12.8-14 eV) has been found. A series peaks is observed same region, corresponding to F-(1S)+H*(n=2, 3, 4, 5) products. first are attributed predissociation found spectrum. strong F- peak at 12.8 eV likely explain serious perturbation previously reported 1975 by Spence Noguchi.
