摘要: Abstract Objective: This article describes two inexpensive photodynamic antimicrobial chemotherapy (PACT) protocols to provide intensive local care on ulcerated feet of diabetic patients with osteomyelitis. Background Data: Patients this condition generally have poor quality life. The usual treatment consists the administration a cocktail drugs including anti-inflammatories, promoters blood circulation, and systemic antibiotics. However, depending conditions tissues, amputation may be required. Consequently, it is important develop PACT that can help avoid amputation.
