摘要: Heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) is the inducible isoform of an enzyme family responsible for heme degradation and was suggested to be involved in acute phase response liver. However, mechanisms HO-1 regulation under inflammatory conditions are poorly understood. Therefore, purpose current work study expression liver other organs rats with a localized inflammation after intramuscular injection turpentine oil (TO). Since interleukin-6 (IL-6) known principal mediator inflammation, levels this cytokine were also estimated animal model used. IL-6 evaluated by Northern blot, situ hybridization, Western immunohistochemistry enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. In injured muscle, mRNA dramatically increased 4-6 h TO administration. protein elevated starting from 6-12 treatment. internal such as heart, kidney large intestine, only slight induction observed. IL-6-specific transcripts appeared muscle accordance serum IL-6. turn, temporal circulatory correlated well muscle. control detected Kupffer cells, while TO-injected hepatocytes became strongly positive. Conversely, immunoreactivity attributed macrophages. Our data demonstrate that during rapidly induced macrophages hepatocytes, derived seems
