摘要: The response of rectal cancer to preoperative chemoradiotherapy (PRT) varies widely among patients, and predictors the remain be elucidated. purpose this study is investigate whether radiation-induced apoptosis (RIA) peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs) reflects underlying intrinsic radiosensitivity cancer. Forty-one patients with clinical T3-4, M0 low cancers, treated PRT curative surgery, were retrospectively studied. PBLs obtained from samples irradiated at 0, 2, 8, 16 Gy in vitro, analyzed for RIA by flow cytometry using Annexin V (AV) propidium iodide (PI). correlation histological regression was examined. Both proportions AV+/PI− (early apoptosis) AV+/PI + PBLs (late significantly higher high than those regression. Age, sex, tumor size, T N stages did not affect PBLs. This showed that correlated suggested might estimated
