Status of the Twin Helical Undulator Soft X‐ray Beamline at SPring‐8: Performance for Circular Dichroism Measurements

摘要: The status of the soft x‐ray beamline BL25SU at SPring‐8 is reported. performance for circular dichroism measurements using helicity switching helical undulator radiation focused on. Light spots on a sample opposite helicities have been observed with photoelectron emission microscope. vertical profiles almost same line shape and positional difference ∼ 0.5 μm. horizontal spot positions coincide, but widths are different by 7 %. energy monochromatized light between has estimated to be less than or comparable 1 meV in Ne 1s absorption region. kick angle kicker magnets increased from 0.2 0.3 mrad avoid penetration higher harmonics.
