摘要: Purpose Previous studies have reported significantly higher concentrations of serum DNA in various types cancers. Thus the study aims to determine whether circulating free (CFDNA) can aid diagnosis and prognosis oral epithelial dysplasia squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Materials Methods A nonrandomized case-control was planned where cases were derived from patients who presented KLE Institute Dental Sciences, Belgaum, India, for evaluation management lesions between 2007 2009. In this predictor variable status disease patients, outcome CFDNA. Demographic variables included age, gender, tobacco consumption, stage at cancer. Subjects with any known systemic disease, other tumors, or metastatic OSCC excluded (CFDNA is altered tissue destruction inflammatory diseases). The amount CFDNA determined through spectrophotometry (NanoDrop ND-1000 spectrophotometer; Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA) sampled blood plasma. Mean range quantification plasma calculated all groups compared by use analysis variance test. Results total 390 (90 potentially malignant lesions, 150 cases, post-treatment cases) control subjects studied. No significant difference observed levels groups. Similarly, showed no except groups, which probably artifactual. Conclusions This shows that progression malignancy does not correlate changes
