Attitudes toward science of gifted and nongifted fifth graders

摘要: The purpose of this investigation has been to explore whether differences existed between gifted and nongifted fifth graders genders related subgroups with respect attitudes toward science. Both groups (N = 25) were matched on the demographic characteristics school-site, race, sex, socio-economic background. Gifted students found have more positive science than students; however, no significant found. In all cases, boys (all boys, boys) exhibited science; again, uncovered their counterpart group or subgroups. item which consistently reflected most rating (gifted students, girls girls) was “usefulness things done in class.” Items where discrepancies surfaced included when playing at home” significantly counterparts, “spending time doing experiments” counterparts.
