摘要: Although it is generally recognized that immunity costly, not much known about how these costs are dis- tributed among different compartments of the immune sys- tem. Using lines Drosophila melanogaster differed in their antibacterial innate response due to differ- ences functional transcription factor Relish, we set out investigate condition-dependent effects immuno- logical maintenance on mating success. We found when flies were raised under poor nutritional conditions as lar- vae, and provided wild-type being large was costly terms reduced success, immunodeficient mutant have invest less Imd signalling pathway achieved a higher success compared with flies. The results indicate trade- off between immunological traits associ- ated male highlight importance early-life environment determining adult performance.
