摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the growing information on production of interleukin-4 (IL-4) and a set related lymphokines, such as IL-3, IL-5, granulocyte–macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) by mast cells other Fc ɛ RI + well tumor necrosis (TNF-α), IL-6, IL-1, IL-8 its congeners these cells. It pathophysiologic conditions in which lymphokine is increased signaling mechanisms employed that lead to production. Lymphokines cytokines mediate wide range biologic functions. They are responsible for much regulatory activity T have potent pro- anti-inflammatory properties. Mast basophils cell types two major phenotypic properties common. both store histamine express high-affinity R, called RI. The establishes transformed cells, dependent freshly isolated all capacity produce lymphokines cytokines. In particular, molecules produced including IL-4, GM-CSF, TNF-a, IL-8, very important roles regulation inflammatory responses. particularly striking potential immunologically responses, most notably orchestrating events associated with allergic inflammation.
