摘要: Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to put forward a completely new academic library service mode called “Innovation community” in light current information environment, social background and user demands. especially suitable for libraries, aimed at supporting the cultivation innovation ability, encouraging participation, joint construction, interaction communication, designing different theme communities organizing services activities so that both libraries users can become entities independent innovation. At same time, seeks elaborate on development ideas constructing by taking IC2 its auxiliary support plan Shanghai Jiaotong University Library as practice case. Design/methodology/approach – adopts research methodology combines situation analysis theoretical explanation, model exhibition case study. Findings – It found kind learning groups with demand Under an e‐science e‐education construct environment platform promoting communication cooperation interdisciplinary study innovation, more effectively knowledge discovery, exploitation tacit through individualized design communities. Research limitations/implications – IC2@SJTUL, community”, has only constructed present, first term not been completed. Therefore, evaluation actual operation effect cannot be made until later, tested after period operation. Originality/value – From perspective, elaborates intention, elements primary characteristics studies typical case.
