摘要: The development of a versatile class silica nanoparticles for cell studies is reported. particles contain fluorescent dye-encoded core and single-stranded DNA oligonucleotide-displaying shell. They are accessible in arbitrary size color through robust protocols Stober-based colloidal synthesis sturdy chemical surface functionalization. Silica the range 100 nm to 1.5 µm diameter containing fluorescein, Cy3 oder Cy5 cores synthesized functionalized with oligonucleotides. These biopebbles conveniently traceable by microscopy have high affinity live cells, which makes them ideal uptake studies, as demonstrated MCF7 A431 cancer cells. can be utilized building blocks self-assembled formation patterns on glass substrates. With these architectures, privileged internalization exploited improved adhesion guidance cells because no longer ingested adhered due their physical connection solid support. It believed that biopebble approach will useful variety applications, fundamental biology tissue engineering.
