摘要: Detailed karyomorphology of two morphologically distinct varieties diploid taro (Colocasia esculenta) was studied. The karyotypes the morphotypes were found to be different in gross karyomorphology. magnitude difference between these striking and it appears more than what can accounted for by mere structural changes chromosomes one type leading other. A taxonomic separation may worth consideration.
