摘要: Apoptosis is a form of cellular suicide central to various aspects in biology including tissue homeostasis, embryonic development, carcinogenesis, and neurodegenerative disorders. Quantitative modeling approaches provided valuable insights into the digital irreversible nature apoptosis initiation. In this chapter, we summarize mathematical formalisms used systems apoptosis. addition, give an overview apoptosis-related research questions that can be addressed by modeling. Moreover, review top-down bottom-up applied apoptosis, particularly focus on ordinary differential equation (ODE) Basic concepts such as bistability sensitivity analysis are introduced, ODE models provided. We describe bistability, temporal switching, crosstalk between death survival, also discuss model cell-to-cell variability.
