摘要: The normal counterpart of the malignant melanoma cell is melanocyte. This has been widely included in Pearce classification APUD (amine precursor uptake and decarboxylase) category cells. Without debating validity hypothesis, melanocyte shares with these cells an embryologic origin neural crest a role as microendocrine system which product (the melanosome) transported across membranes intercellular space into adjacent (epidermal keratinocytes). major its biochemical product, melanin, substituted amino acid (3, 4-dihydroxyphenylaldinine), particular histochemical staining properties relate to activity. Thus, it not surprising that exhibits features natural history strongly suggest endocrine influence on either initiation neoplasm or history.
