摘要: Elovl5 elongase is a critical enzyme involved in the highly unsaturated fatty acid (HUFA) biosynthesis. There very little information on evolution and functional characterization of Elovl5-a Elovl5-b genes common carp (Cyprinus carpio var. Jian). In present study, genomic sequences structures two putative Elovl5-like genome were obtained. The mRNA expression patterns tissues, hatching embryos, juveniles under nutritional regulation investigated. results show that have similar organization, coding 8 exons high identity introns distinct size sequence composition. They are not allelic variants single gene. Both expressed liver, intestine (pyloric caeca) brain. mRNAs showed increased from newly hatched to 20 days after hatching. response dietary composition was determined brain fed with diets: (i) fish oil (FO) rich n-3 HUFA, (ii) corn (CO, 18:2n-6) or (iii) linseed (LO, 18:3n-3). Also differential carps different sources studied. Further work aimed at determination mechanisms tissues roles transcription factors regulating HUFA synthesis progress.
