Clinical trials of temporomandibular joint involvement of juvenile idiopathic arthritis.

摘要: Abstract Objective: The objective of this report is to review the current available clinical trials JIA regarding diagnosis, management, or outcomes TMJ involvement. We hypothesized that such are rare. Study Design: Clinical Trials Database was queried through ClinicalTrials.gov for keywords relevant juvenile idiopathic arthritis and temporomandibular joint. outcome variables were: trial number, principal investigator information, reported results. Results: There were 224 involving JIA. Six studies involved TMJs. sample sizes ranged from 12 452 subjects. No NIH funded. Five closed enrollment with only one posting open study has been actively recruiting patients over years. Conclusion: Of registered JIA, six An increase in focused funding opportunities multicenter may help number clinial patient population.
