摘要: Purpose The purpose of this investigation is to assess the current clinical practices by oral and maxillofacial surgeons (OMSs) in United States regarding diagnosis treatment temporomandibular joint (TMJ) involvement children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Materials Methods We implemented a cross-sectional survey academic OMSs via an electronic survey. included respondent demographic data, patient volumes, diagnostic methods, management for JIA TMJ involvement. results were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results study respondents composed 52 surgeons. Most men (n = 43, 87.8%), aged 51 60 years (n = 20, 39.2%), full-time academics (n = 42, 84%), had more than 20 years experience (n = 26, 50%), seeing 1 5 patients per month (n = 21, 46.7%). 11 15 years (n = 22, 61.1%) managed 2 systemic medications (n = 30, 81.1%).
