摘要: [1] Fundamental to the onset of Indian Summer Monsoon is land-sea thermal gradient from Ocean Himalayas-Tibetan Plateau (HTP). The timing strongly controlled by meridional tropospheric temperature due rapid premonsoon heating HTP compared relatively cooler Ocean. Analysis temperatures longest available record microwave satellite measurements reveals widespread warming over Himalayan-Gangetic region and consequent strengthening gradient. This trend most pronounced in pre-monsoon season, resulting a 2.7C 29-year (1979–2007), when this influenced dust aerosols at elevated altitudes. enhanced accompanied increased atmospheric loading absorbing aerosols, particularly vertically extended raising possibility that aerosol solar has amplified seasonal turn strengthened Citation: Gautam, R., N.
