摘要: Wind energy is one of the main contributors to renewable generation. In order embed wind farms in Smart Grid concepts, turbine controllers have objective follow an accumulated total power generation reference while at same time aim reduce damage wear out, which individual has sustain. This paper looks a centralized control architecture for turbines, sensors periodically provide their values via local sensor network and IP-based wide area network, based on controller calculates new set-points. Subsequently, set-points are sent back network. Testbed measurements delays message loss different technologies 2G, 3G, PLC WLAN captured mimicking scenario farm. These measurement traces fed into co-simulation framework then show impact performance technologies. The results that 2G narrow-band cannot support presented scenario, mainly due throughput delay limitations, 3G able necessary communication bandwidth low delays. measured distributions latter two can be used optimize scheduling readings benefit from such optimizations qualitatively discussed.
