摘要: Abstract The use of surface chemiluminescence to study the kinetics processes is discussed and demonstrated. In adsorption molecules on surfaces variation light emission intensity with gas exposure (or coverage) may yield information about reaction complementary that obtained by other means. Examples are given for O2 aluminium titanium Cl2 sodium surfaces. It also shown how signal can be used measure very small diffusion rates. Finally mechanisms responsible photons electrons in reactions metal briefly discussed.
