摘要: Plasma mevalonate concentrations in uremic patients. Mevalonic acid (mevalonate or MVA), is an obligate precursor the biosynthetic pathway of cholesterol. It partially metabolized by kidneys and its plasma are index endogenous cholesterol synthesis. The aim present study was to evaluate MVA patients with different degrees chronic renal failure (CRF; group A), effects a single hemodialysis treatment on end-stage disease (ESRD; B). CRF exhibited higher mean basal concentration (13.3 ± 6.5 ng/ml) than control subjects (4.68 1.32 ng/ml; P r = 0.86;
