摘要: Olive knot disease caused by Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. is spread in all olive cultivation area including Italy where it can cause significant yield losses. The aim of the present study was to screen greenhouse some genotypes for resistance/tolerance disease. In a first experiment, cultivars Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo and Nostrale di Rigali were inoculated with 5 bacterial strains collected Umbria (Central Italy) from cv. Frantoio. second 25 genotypes, particular: three half-sib families [open pollinated seedlings Ascolana (6 genotypes), Leccino genotypes) (3 genotypes)], full-sib [hybrid Frantoio x Maurino (1 genotype)] (Frantoio, Moraiolo) strain which experiment showed highest virulence. shoots (5 inoculation sites per shoot) suspension containing × 108 CFU m1−1. Symptom severity evaluated about months after inoculation, determining size weight. that, independently used, most susceptible, followed Kigali, weight 86% lower respect result confirmed as less respectively. Among hybrid open seedlings, seems interesting Mo.6.105 genotype, more tolerant than Leccino.
