Towards Ontological Support for Journalistic Angles

摘要: Journalism relies more and on information communication technology (ICT). New journalistic ICT platforms continuously harvest potentially news-related from the internet try to make it useful for journalists. Because sources formats vary widely, knowledge graphs are emerging as a preferred integrating, enriching, preparing information. The paper explores how can be augmented with support news angles, in order help journalists detect newsworthy events present them ways that will interest intended audience. We argue finding angles is important an example of general problem science: most interesting situations big data sets presenting those ways.
