摘要: For easing the exchange of news, International Press Telecommunication Council (IPTC) has developed NewsML Architecture (NAR), an XML-based model that is specialized into a number languages such as G2 and EventsML G2. As part this architecture, specific controlled vocabularies, IPTC News Codes, are used to categorize news items together with other industry-standard thesauri. While still mainly in form text-based stories, these often illustrated graphics, images videos. Media-specific metadata formats, EXIF, DIG35 XMP, describe media. The use different formats single production process leads interoperability problems within chain itself. It also excludes linking existing web knowledge resources impedes construction uniform end-user interfaces for searching browsing content. In order allow standards interoperate information environment, we design OWL ontology Architecture, linked multimedia standards. We convert NewsCodes SKOS thesaurus demonstrate how can then be enriched using natural language processing analysis integrated already formalized on Semantic Web. discuss method developing give rationale our decisions. provide guidelines re-engineering schemas ontologies formalize their implicit semantics. In appropriateness infrastructure, present exploratory environment items.
