摘要: The photoluminescence and the Raman spectra of 1- 2-LO phonons in cadmium sulphide (CdS) are studied under hydrostatic pressure up to 42 kbar at room temperature. luminescence peak shifts higher energy with increasing vanishes around 25 kbar, when a phase transition from direct-band-gap wurtzite an indirect-gap rocksalt structure occurs. shift heavily-chlorine-doped CdS (5.35\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.21 meV/kbar) is than that pure (4.47\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.22 or lightly doped (4.24\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.15 samples. LO phonons, which typical phase, expected disappear transition. However, they persist well beyond transformation into observed kbar. This confirms presence mixed
