摘要: Environment-sensitive dyes due to the sensitivity of their spectra physicochemical properties environment are unique tools for probing model and biological membranes. Here, we describe a particular class environment-sensitive based on 3-hydroxychromones. These exhibit excited-state intramolecular proton transfer resulting in dual emission, highly sensitive polarity hydration. Appropriate molecular design new probes allows precise localization orientation fluorophore lipid bilayers, which confer high specificity membrane properties. In this respect, interface monitoring order, while vertical is required achieve dipole transmembrane potentials. Finally, applications these sensing domains (rafts) apoptosis shown.
