摘要: Abstract Ozone uptake into plant leaves was measured in gas exchange chambers using a mass balance and variable conductance approach. The approach found to more reliably measure ozone flux through stomata. Measurements this were contrasted with estimates obtained by measuring stomatal gsw modeling diffusion equation, assuming negligible concentration the substomatal cavity. Actual measurements of close, but slightly higher than modeled values, providing some support idea that concentrations are close zero. However, difference between values suggests either (i) measures caused alone or (ii) is underestimated.
