Use of Prepositioned Areal Electrofishing Devices with Rod Electrodes in Small Streams

摘要: Abstract We describe the design, performance, and operation of prepositioned areal electrofishing devices (PAEDs) that use rod electrodes for sampling fish in mesohabitat units a small stream. The flexibility design offered by PAED designs is an improvement over previously reported provides capacity to specifically match immobilization range with varying shape size under typical field conditions.
