摘要: The charge recombination rate in DNA hairpins is investigated. distance dependence for the between stilbene donor (Sd + ) and acceptor (Sa***) linkers separated by an AT bridge has a double exponential form. We suggest that this associated with two tunneling channels distinguished presence or absence of Cl*** counterion bound to Sd . Experiment-based estimates binding parameters agree within reasonable expectations. A control experiment replacing ion other halide ions suggested. Counterion substitution allows modification either direction orders magnitude.
