摘要: Charge transfer in DNA is of current interest because the involvement charge oxidative damage and electronic molecular devices. We have investigated separation process via consecutive adenine (A)-hopping mechanism using laser flash photolysis conjugated with naphthaldiimide (NDI) as an electron acceptor phenothiazine (PTZ) a donor. Upon 355-nm excitation NDI, recombination between NDI PTZ was observed. The yields A-hopping were slightly dependent upon number A bases two chromophores, while rate strongly distance. charge-separated state persisted over 300 μs when separated from by eight bases.
