摘要: Twelve lambs, paired on the basis of live weight, were cannulated in abomasum, proximal jejunum approximately 4 m distal to pylorus and terminal ileum. Six infected with 3000 Trichostrongylus colubriformis Ostertagia circumcincta larvae each day for 18 weeks remainder pair-fed individual lambs. All animals offered ryegrass (Lolium perenne)-white clover (Trifolium repens) pasture, cut daily. Dry matter (DM) intake, faecal egg concentration, plasma pepsinogen protein concentrations measured weekly. During 7 17 after commencement infection, flow digesta along gastrointestinal tract was together enteric loss true digestion absorption 125I-labelled albumin small intestine.
