摘要: We monitored activity and movement patterns of young white-tailed deer fawns (Odocoileus virginianus) at the National Zoo’s Conservation Research Center (CRC), Front Royal, Virginia, to study adjustment fawn’s behavior its susceptibility predation. Although very restricted during first month life, movements increased continuously as grew older. Activities use space by their mothers were completely synchronized 12 weeks after parturition. Circadian rhythms also strongly related age. During 4 they characterized pronounced peaks sunrise sunset little night. Subsequently, night significantly.
