This may be due to a variety of reasons: repercussions on sleep the symptoms pertaining these illnesses, e.g. pain, dyspnoea, nycturia, reduced motility, pruritus; anxiety or even depressive moods induced by handicap, failure understand course illness, sometimes risk life itself; adverse effects certain medications used. chapter will deal disorders encountered in heart, respiratory, gastro-intestinal, renal, rheumatic, endocrine and metabolic conditions.
