摘要: In this report we present the identification and analysis of two Bacillus subtilis genes, yklA ykzA, which are homologous to partially RpoS-controlled osmC gene from Escherichia coli. The is expressed at higher levels in minimal medium than rich driven by a putative vegetative promoter. Expression ykzA not dependent but increases dramatically when cells exposed stress starvation. This stress-induced increase expression absolutely on alternative sigma factor ςB, controls large stationary-phase regulon. therefore another example common RpoS ςB regulons E. coli B. subtilis, respectively. composite complex pattern genes very similar profile
