CD4+Vβ8+ T cells mediate herpes stromal keratitis

摘要: T lymphocytes are critical in mediating herpes simplex stromal keratitis (HSK). Using immunohistologic methods, we studied the cell subsets and receptor variable region (TCR V beta) repertoire of cells eye after corneal infection with HSV (KOS strain). We investigated possibility that there might be differential beta preferential usage HSK resistant susceptible BALB/c congenic mice differ only a small associated Igh-1 gene locus. The inflamed corneas C.AL-20 were mainly infiltrated by CD4+ 8 expressing cells. Such not seen C.B-17 mice. Our results indicate CD4+V 8+ involved HSV-1 keratitis.
