摘要: Traditional networks are transformed to enable full integration of heterogeneous hardware and software functions, that configured at runtime, with minimal time market, provided their end users on “as a service” principle. Therefore, countless number possibilities for further innovation exploitation opens up. Network Function Virtualization (NFV) Software-Defined Networking (SDN) two key enablers such new flexible, scalable, service-oriented network architecture. This chapter provides an overview QoS-aware strategies can be used over the levels abstraction aiming fully exploit opportunities. Specifically, we present three use cases integrating SDN NFV service composition, ranging from energy efficient placement virtual functions inside modern data centers, deployment stream processing applications using control paths, exploiting context-aware compositions.
