摘要: We are at the cusp of a technological revolution driven mainly by advances in hardware technology, network architectural support, and ability to process big data. The industry, Moore's law, continues provide steadily increasing computing capability with diminishing costs. With support advances, platforms for distributed storage processing data, such as Apache Hadoop, scalably reliably massive amounts data using cluster commodity servers. In parallel, is ongoing networking world. emergence software defined (SDN) architecture promises rectify ossified Internet allowing managers flexibly program network. this paper, we argue that SDN two trends promise revolutionize all aspects modern life, can leverage freedom afforded each other jointly increase their value proposition. particular, utilize large operational optimize behavior, while benefit from flexible provided SDN. will brief self-contained exposition on opportunities synergize optimize. also point out open research issues identify future directions work.
