High-Power Ultraflat Near-Infrared Supercontinuum Generation Pumped by a Continuous Amplified Spontaneous Emission Source

摘要: A high-power ultraflat near-infrared supercontinuum (SC) is generated in a section of photonic crystal fiber (PCF) pumped by an amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) source instead continuous-wave (CW) and pulsed lasers. low-power ASE seed at 1 $\mu\hbox{m} $ to be 90.9 W two amplifiers then emitted from 10- -core fiber. Using this pump 100-m-long PCF, 49.5-W SC obtained, the 5-dB spectral bandwidth 760 nm, covering 1062 1822 nm. This reported highest power ASE-pumped source. comparative experiment taken with 122-W CW laser 1090 nm same PCF. 56.2-W width 605 1082 1687 The conversion efficiency higher, spectrum broader flatter using as pump. Conclusively, incoherence can aid generation flatness.
