摘要: High-power operation of a single-mode, linearly polarized, broadband superfluorescent fiber source has been achieved by using two-stage cladding-pumped configuration comprising low power, single-ended, ytterbium-doped seed and high-power cladding-pumped, polarization-maintaining, large-mode-area, amplifier pumped diode at 976nm. The yielded maximum polarized output 106W with slope efficiency up to 67% respect the launched pump power measured polarization extinction ratio 13.5dB. wavelength spectrum spanned range continuously from ~1035 1100nm, bandwidth (FWHM) emission was 21nm. minimum required for an over 100W only 10mW, corresponding effective gain in stage 40dB. Single-spatial-mode beam propagation factor (M2)<1.1 bending bend radius ~8cm, without significant reduction power.
