High-Power Broadband Thulium-Doped All-Fiber Superfluorescent Source at 2 $\mu{\rm m}$

摘要: We report on the experimental realization of a stable high-power all-fiber broadband amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) source at 1992 nm by using an MOPA configuration. The ASE yields maximum output power 25 W with slope efficiency 49%, and wavelength range spanned from 1930 to 2100 full-width half-maximum bandwidth nm. In addition, we also measure stability narrowband CW fiber laser same thulium-doped main amplifier under incident pump 66 W. fluctuation is below ±0.3%, which much lower than that (±2.3%) continuous wave laser.
