摘要: Abstract A series of experiments was conducted to evaluate the effects inorganic and organic forms Se with or without reducing agents on in vitro IgM production by bovine lymphocytes. Peripheral mononuclear cells were isolated from nonlactating Jersey cows fed a diet adequate Se. Cells stimulated pokeweed mitogen and, addition, cultured various compounds at concentration 100ng Se/ml. Mercaptoethanol (50 µ M ) glutathione (1m included cultures Sodium selenite less effective than selenomethionine selenocystine augmenting mitogen-induced Ig synthesis. The addition mercaptoethanol mitogen-stimulated control enhanced production, whereas had negligible effect, but either combination sodium dramatically depressed production. These results suggest that enhances B-cell function vitro.
