摘要: This paper addresses the political dimensions of nanotechnology and related nanophenomena, by conducting a systematic detailed analysis linguistic practices in Swedish government documents. A total 180 documents (1985–2011) referring to nano are analysed with regard types phenomena referred terms what is said about these nanophenomena. More precisely, lexical grammatical context sentences explored. Based on patterns, general themes identified, for example, knowledge, support, innovation, benefits, competence competition, application, risk, regulation. findings, conclusion drawn that discourse three senses: it articulated politicians; formulates matters collective concern; expresses promotes specific social interests, rather than others, namely, support an allegedly uniform nanofield.
