摘要: Abstract Solutions of ribose, glucose, and sucrose in water phosphate buffer were treated with non-thermal plasma generated by using a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) device the oxidation products characterized 1H NMR GC–MS. Our results demonstrate that these sugars are decomposed to formic acid, glycolic glyceric tartronic tartaric acetic oxalic acid after direct exposure DBD plasma. The concentrations compounds time-dependent treatment. decomposition mechanisms under also proposed this study.
