摘要: Corpora amylacea (CA) in the human brain are granular bodies formed by polyglucosan aggregates that amass waste products of different origins. They generated astrocytes, mainly during aging and neurodegenerative conditions, located predominantly periventricular subpial regions. This study shows CA released from these regions to cerebrospinal fluid present cervical lymph nodes, into which drains through meningeal lymphatic system. We also show can be phagocytosed macrophages. conclude act as containers remove may involved a mechanism cleans brain. Moreover, we postulate contribute some autoimmune diseases, exporting substances interact with immune system, hypothesize contain markers aid diagnosis certain diseases.
