摘要: Introduction Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a complex metabolic disorder associated with ovulatory dysfunction, hyperandrogenism, obesity, and insulin resistance, that leads to subfertility. Sam68 an RNA-binding protein signaling functions ubiquitously expressed, including gonads. recruited leptin signaling, mediating different actions. Objective We aimed investigate the role of in effect on aromatase expression granulosa cells posible implication resistance PCOS. Materials methods Granulosa were from healthy donors (n = 25) women PCOS 25), within age range 20 40 years, Valencian Infertility Institute (IVI), Seville, Spain. was inhibited by siRNA method overexpressed vector. Expression level analysed qPCR immunoblot. Statistical significance assessed ANOVA followed post-hoc tests. A P value <0.05 considered statistically significant. Results have found stimulation increases phosphorylation normal donors. Downregulation resulted lower activation MAPK PI3K pathways response leptin, whereas overexpression increased enhancing expression. presented resistant Conclusions These results suggest participation receptor cells, point new target
