摘要: 1. Conventional mandible contouring surgery usually involves the chin narrowing procedure that is combined with angle reduction, which renowned as “V-line surgery.” 2. In cases a disproportionately wide without an excessive angle, it possible to achieve well-balanced lower face by only anterior portion of and leaving angle. 3. Patients unsatisfactory results after previous surgeries can also be considered eligible for this “mini V-line surgery” procedure. 4. Under general anesthesia, genioplasty performed T-osteotomy technique followed further reduction bony steps at chin-mandible junction. 5. Postoperative complications such transient neurosensory loss, soft-tissue sagging, surgical site infections, hematoma are reported, while other asymmetry, over- under-correction, unexpected fractures, malunion or nonunion bone segments, facial paralysis may occur. 6. Surgeons planning should consider aesthetically harmonic pleasing in properly selected cases.
