摘要: Abstract Engineered Cementitious Composites (ECC) is a material which possesses advanced self-healing properties. Although the performance of ECC has been revealed in numerous studies, only small-scale, laboratory-size specimens have used to assess it under fixed laboratory conditions and curing techniques. In order evaluate effect intrinsic ability on properties structural-size, large-scale reinforced-beam members, with four different shear span effective depth (a/d) ratios, ranging from 1 4, were prepared effects flexural deformation. To ensure realistic assessment, beams cured using wet burlap, similar on-site curing. Each beam was tested for mechanical including load-carrying capacity, deflection ductility ratio, yield stiffness, energy absorption influence self-healing, by comparing types failure cracking. Self-healed test showed higher strength, capacity ratio than damaged beams. an a/d 4 behavior prominent, application highly successful; ratios these achieved level undamaged addition, cracks healed better, helping recover predominantly rather cracks.
